Study of heat and mass characteristics of ternary non-azeotropic refrigerant mixtures inside air/refrigerant-enhanced surface tubing.

Summary

The paper presents an experimental study of two-phase flow condensation and boiling of these mixtures. Correlations are proposed to predict heat transfer characteristics, such as average heat transfer coefficients and pressure drops. It was found that the pressure drop of the refrigerant mixture is a weak function of the mixture's composition.
