Two-phase heat transfer of non-ozone depleting refrigerant-oil mixtures.
Author(s) : BOISSIEUX X., JOHNS R. A., HEIKAL M. R.
Summary
This paper presents heat transfer data for the non-ozone depleting refrigerants R404A, R407C and Isceon 59. These data have been derived from a validated model taking into account the two-phase flow mechanisms occurring during evaporation. Average heat transfer coefficients are presented, together with local values since the former are more useful for the design of heat exchangers. The effects of oil contamination on heat transfer have also been investigated.
