Study of the characteristics of the transcritical CO2 cycle in a water-water heat pump system.

Author(s) : MA Y., WANG J., ZHA S.

Summary

A discussion on the influence of external heat source properties and operating pressure on the characteristics of the system is presented. The isentropic efficiency of the CO2 compressor, heat transfer effectiveness of the gas cooler and the evaporator, and the influence on system characteristics have been analysed. The regulation methods are also discussed.
