Summary

The article analyses the energy and cooling load of each layer in the Nara Dome building in Japan, based on the measured vertical distribution of temperature in membrane roof buildings and by use of on-the-spot determination data. The intention is to provide some fundamentals for designing and running air conditioning systems.
