Summary

THE PAPER REPORTS MEASUREMENTS OF PVTX PROPERTIES FOR THE R152A-R114 SYSTEM FOR 10, 20, 50, 80, 90 AND 100 WT% R152A MIXTURES. THE MEASUREMENTS WERE CONDUCTED IN THE RANGE 303 TO 443 K, PRESSURES FROM 0.4 TO 9.7 MEGAPASCALS AND DENSITIES FROM 160 TO 1,330 KG/M3 ALONG 46 DIFFERENT ISOCHORES. COMPARING VAPOUR PRESSURE DATA FOR PURE R152A WITH OTHER REPORTED DATA AND CORRELATION, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE PRESENT MEASUREMENTS WERE CONSISTENT AND RELIABLE. THE DEW AND BUBBLE POINTS FOR MEASURED ISOCHORES WERE DETERMINED AND THE COMPOSITION DEPENDENCE OF THE CRITICAL POINTS WERE EI. THE GENERAL BEHAVIOUR OF THE CRITICAL CURVE FOR THE PRESENT BINARY MIXTURES WITH THOSE OF OTHER MIXTURES REPORTED PREVIOUSLY ARE DISCUSSED.
