Summary

Based on the atmospheric dust experiment, this paper deals with the contaminant air exchange caused by the temperature difference when opening the doors of isolation wards. The authors conclude that the undesired effect of the temperature difference could not be eliminated just by the negative pressure difference between adjacent rooms, that the contaminant air exchange would increase about 50% with a temperature difference of 2°C than that in the temperature of 0°C, and that such contamination could be reduced with the help of buffer rooms.
