Summary

IN ORDER TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DESIGN OF THE PURIFICATION PROCESS WITH LOW TEMPERATURE METHANOL WASHING, GAS-LIQUID EQUILIBRIA OF THE H2-CO2-methanol SYSTEM WERE MEASURED AND STUDIED STATISTICALLY AT TEMPERATURES OF -5, -15, -30, -45 AND -56 DEG C UNDER PRESSURES OF 2,350 AND 7,950 KILOPASCALS. THE MEASURED DATA WERE CORRELATED THERMODYNAMICALLY BY APPLYING THE SRK-WILSON MODEL, WHILE THE GAS-LIQUID EQUILIBRIA UNDER DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES AND PRESSURES WERE PREDICTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MODEL PARAMETERS (WILSON PARAMETERS AND HENRY CONSTANTS UNDER ZERO PRESSURE) OF VARIOUS BINARY SYSTEMS.
