Summary
The paper presents two of the latest achievements of the Institute of Scientific Research and Technological Engineering for Power Equipment in Bucharest in the field of sun thermotechnics; the ice producing plant, with an output of 750 kg ice in 24 hours (the plant is working solely by solar energy supply) and cereals drying plants with drying capacities between 300 and 15,000 t cereals/year. The above-mentioned plants operate in various sites in Rumania.
