Summary

Supercritical fluids have attracted enormous interest as solvents for chemical reactions. In order to apply supercritical fluids as chemical reaction processes, it is absolutely necessary to understand transport phenomena in the supercritical fluids. Some physical properties are infinity or 0 at the critical point. From a chemical engineering point of view, supercritical water and carbon dioxide are important. I would like to introduce recent studies about supercritical water and carbon dioxide. Especially, supercritical microreaction system id discussed.
