Summary

THE MOST EFFICIENT REFRIGERATION PLANT WAS INSTALLED IN THE VINZENZ MURR'S MEAT PRODUCTS FACTORY IN MUNICH. THE PLANT INCLUDES AN ICE STORAGE SYSTEM. THE REFRIGERATION PLANT WAS ALSO COMBINED WITH A 2-STAGE HEAT RECOVERY PROCESS AND FACILITIES FOR STORING THE PRODUCT IN THE DEEP-FREEZE RANGE. THE DESCRIPTIONS GIVEN IN THE PRESENT PAPER INCLUDE THE PLANS FOR THE PROJECT AND THE MAIN DATA. THE PLANT HAS BEEN RUNNING SINCE THE MIDDLE OF NOVEMBER 1982.
