Summary

This report introduces a summary of these activities, focusing on examination procedures. First, the authors determined the possible deterioration modes for various types of equipment, based on the particular characteristics of the different parts of that equipment. Then, they compared the results with the items on the maintenance checklists to confirm which deterioration modes should be given management priority. Next, they conducted comprehensive inspections for each deterioration mode, placing priority on facilities related to flammable fluids, and determined maintenance management methods based on the confirmed current condition of the respective facilities. Finally, the former maintenance manuals were revised, and these results were reflected in the maintenance operations.
