Summary
THE THERMODYNAMIC STATE-SURFACE FOR A REFRIGERANT MIXTURE OF THE R12 + R22 SYSTEM WAS DESCRIBED IN THE RANGE OF 240 AND 420 K, PRESSURE NOT HIGHER THAN 9 MEGAPASCALS AND DENSITY NOT HIGHER THAN 900 KILOGRAMS/M3. USING T-S DIAGRAMS FOR SEVERAL COMPOSITIONS ILLUSTRATED, THE COP FOR THE STANDARD REFRIGERATION CYCLE USING THE PRESENT BINARY MIXTURE SYSTEM AS REFRIGERANT WAS CALCULATED. ANALYSIS OF THE COP WAS EXPLAINED BY THE COMPOSITION DEPENDENCE OF THE THERMODYNAMIC STATE-SURFACE OFTHE PRESENT SYSTEM.
