THE STANDARDISATION OF MEASURING METHODS, SUCH AS THAT WITH GUARDED HOT PLATE AND FLOWMETER, FIRSTLY REQUIRES THE DEFINITION OF THE TOOLS TO BE USED IN ORDER TO REACH THE PURPOSE INTENDED AND THE WAYS TO DO IT. SUCH DOCUMENTS SHOULD INCLUDE ALL CORRECT SOLUTIONS AND MAKE POSSIBLE THE FUTURE INTRODUCTION OF THE IMPROVEMENTS BROUGHT BY INVESTIGATIONS OR AS AN ANSWER TO COMMERCIAL REQUIREMENTS.
