Summary
The paper describes a newly developed combined system and its actual field evaluation test results. The combined system composed of high efficient electric driven compression heat pump for heating and cooling and a clathrate chemical heat storage unit. To utilize the characteristics of the clathrate chemical heat storage, changing chilled water supply temperatures (7, 9, 12 deg C) were carried out and energy efficiency was newly defined and utilized in the actual proof tests. A target value of this system: energy efficiency of 5.3 was realized and the possibility of the higher temperature cooling water supply was obtained.
