The Japanese Experiment Module is an element of the International Space Station (ISS), where two crews conduct scientific experiment in weightless environment. The JEM Pressurized Module (JPM) and the JEM External Logistics Module Pressurized Section (JLP) have the Environment Control and Life Support System (ECLSS), which can support the crew life and to be possible to active like as on the ground without a space suit. The JEM air conditioning system provides control of the circulation atmosphere, temperature and humidity, and airborne particulate/microbial contaminants. This paper describes the overviews of ISS ECLSS, and development and verification results of JEM: the first Japanese manned Space System.
