Summary

The cold chain is a major challenge to ensure food and health products quality. Logistics developments and the increasing requirements coming from new products sensitive to temperature (especially in the field of medicines) imply the development of new measuring instruments and new methods of temperature measurement adapted to these issues. In this context, metrology now operates as one of the methods making it possible to adapt these methods to the needs of a better controlled cold chain.
