THE AUTHOR GIVES DETAILS OF THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF CONTROLLED ATMOSPHERE STORES, WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON ACTIVATED CARBON SCRUBBERS. THE STORE ATMOSPHERE IS REDUCED BY BURNING HEXANE WITH A CATALYST IN 2-3 DAYS.
