Summary
The special features of the absorption units are described as: the prevention of salt cristallization; the special materials to prevent corrosion; the economiser' and the adaptive microprocessor control system. Two applications of absorption cooling units in combination with heat and power generation are described. One is in an aluminium anodising process (4500 kilowatts) and another is in the production of artificial fibers (2 x 4000 kilowatts).
