Summary
An equation of state (EOS) is developed in the form of Helmholtz free energy F modified to a wide critical region. Well known EOS (Tillner-Roth and Baehr, Huber and Ely a.o.) have used an analytical form, that is why they have a low accuracy in the vicinity of the critical point. A modified form of F is elaborated in the work. It includes a non analytical part structured according to extended scaling laws. The adjustable coefficients of the EOS have been established by fitting to experimental data. All parameters and adjustable coefficients of the EOS were evaluated and a software programme was produced. The calculated thermodynamic data were compared with previous results, with a good agreement in the critical regions.
