THE INVESTIGATION OF DENSITY OF REFRIGERANT R134A -EXPERIMENT AND STATISTIC TREATMENT.

Summary

AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE MEASUREMENT OF THE DENSITY OF THE LIQUID R134A IS PRESENTED, AS WELL AS THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE UNIFORM EQUATION OF STATE FOR THIS PROPERTY. AT PRESENT, THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA FOR THE DENSITY OF R134A ARE KNOWN ONLY IN A SINGLE, GASEOUS PHASE REGION AT ABNORMALLY HIGH TEMPERATURES. MEASUREMENTS WERE DONE AUTOMATICALLY WITH AN EQUIPMENT THAT USES THE CONSTANT VOLUME METHOD. THE DATA RANGE COVERS: THE TEMPERATURE FROM 200 TO 315 K, THE PRESSURE FROM 1.1 TO 55.0 MEGAPASCALS AND THE DENSITY FROM 1,140 TO 1,510 KG/M3. THE STANDARD DEVIATIONS FROM WILSON, WEBER AND AUTHORS POINTS ARE RESPECTIVELY 0.19, 0.1 AND 0.11 %. THE COMPUTER PROGRAM IS USED FOR CALCULATING THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF R134A.
