THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE THERMODYNAMIC BEHAVIOUR OF AN AMMONIA-WATER MIXTURE IS FUNDAMENTAL FOR THE DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF REFRIGERATORS. THE DEVIATION OF THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE GAS MIXTURE FROM THE IDEAL GAS IS PRESENTED AND THE VALUES OF EXCESS ENTHALPY AND VOLUME ARE CALCULATED.
