THE OVERALL PRODUCTION OF 102,630 T OF FROZEN FOODS IN 1981 SHOWED 3.1% INCREASE COMPARED TO 1980. A TABLE GIVES THE TONNAGE OF PLANT AND ANIMAL FROZEN PRODUCTS, WITH THEIR PERCENTAGES, DIFFERENTIATING THOSE FOR HOUSEHOLDS (30,905 T) AND THOSE FOR INSTITUTIONS (33,354 T). THE HIGHEST PERCENTAGES ARE THOSE FOR POULTRY (34.7%), POTATO PRODUCTS (19.4%), AND VEGETABLES (16.7%). CONSUMPTION PER CAPITA IS EVALUATED AT 16.252 KG. FOR ICE CREAM, CONSUMPTION WAS 43,411,840 L IN 1980 AND 45,624,428 L IN 1981, IE 5.1% INCREASE. THE NUMBER OF HOUSEHOLD FREEZERS IN 1981 WAS 258,378, WITH 6.2% INCREASE COMPARED TO 1980. G.G.
