Summary
Based on the analyses of a substantial amount of data, the Group-Contribution method is put forward to calculate the thermophysical properties of freon of ethane class. On condition that the critical temperature, the critical pressure, the critical density are known, the thermophysical properties can be calculated with high accuracy. These include the saturated vapour pressure, the density of saturated liquid and saturated vapour, the surface tension, the thermal conductivity and the viscosity of saturated liquid, the gaseous viscosity and thermal conductivity. This method can meet the demands of the study of CFCs alternatives and other engineering utilization.
