Summary

THE STATE OF SUPERCOILED < NUCLEOIDS > (SCDNA) IN HUMAN BONE MARROW CELLS WAS STUDIED BEFORE AND AFTER CRYOPRESERVATION WITH DIMETHYLACETAMIDE (DMAA) OR POLYETHYLENE OXIDE (PEO-400). IT WAS SHOWN THAT DMAA AND PEO-400 BOTH HAVE A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN THE < NUCLEOID > VISCOSITY AT MAXIMALLY RELAXING ETHIDIUM BROMIDE CONCENTRATIONS IN A LYSING SOLUTION.
