Summary

Decreases of pressure and heat transmission in forced convection evaporator tubes are, in part, strongly affected by oil admixture. Main influencing factors are the mass flow density, the oil viscosity and the oil quota in the refrigerant. Current knowledge and the existing gap of knowledge are pointed out.
