The investigation of the betaine-water mixtures as the energy carrier.

Summary

In the paper, the usefulness of water solutions of betaine as working fluid - the energy carrier in cooling devices, air conditioning, heat pumps as well as solar installations - is investigated. The temperature of the freezing point is presented in function of the solution mass concentration of considered substance. The results of corrosive properties of betaine-water mixtures in relation to materials traditionally used for building of armature and the heat exchangers (i.e. carbon steel, copper, stainless steel, brass) are introduced. The qualification of the influence of sunny radiation on the property of solutions of betaine is also executed (a destruction of dissolved substance under the sunny radiation).
