IIR document

The performance of a 50-kilowatt chemical heat pump test plant.

Author(s) : SPINNER B., NEVEU P.

Summary

A numerical model of a solid-gas reactor, designed to identify the kinetic and thermal parameters from a bench scale model of a few hundred watts, leads to the sizing of a test plant of several tens of kilowatts power. Once built, the latter's performances, expressed in COP, COA and power output are compared with the simulated one.
