The point of view of ANEFRYC regarding the recovery and recycling of ozone-depleting substances.
[In Spanish. / En espagnol.]
Type of article: Article
Summary
ANEFRYC's proposals which aim at facilitating CFC regeneration and recycling are: 1. to prohibit any emission of ozone-depleting substance (ODS) in the atmosphere; 2. to establish ODS recovery, recycling or regeneration, until ODS-destruction plants are built; 3. to prohibit loading refrigerating plants on which leaks have been observed, unless such leaks have been completely eliminated; 4. to make sure that the design, implementation and maintenance of refrigerating plants make possible to avoid any leak; this concerns also the refrigerating units of refrigerated vehicles; the article mentions the essential reference documents in this field; official check on refrigerating plants and units is necessary; 5. to improve training on ODS recovery and recycling in Spain; 6. to develop the sense of civic responsability regarding environment.
