Summary

At a technical meeting organized in Italy by the Pink Lady® Association Europe last fall, a technical status report was presented concerning two important aspects of fruit quality with respect to the Pink Lady® Cripps Pink variety, namely harvest and storage. French and Italian specialists presented the results of their work in these areas. This pooling of experience gave rise to the formulation of a few simple rules to be applied in production and storage facilities, in order to improve compliance with quality standards demanded by markets.
