THE SOLUBILITY AND VISCOSITY OF SOLUTIONS OF HCFC22 IN NAPHTHENIC OIL AND IN ALKYLBENZENE AT HIGH PRESSURES AND TEMPERATURES.

Summary

THE SOLUBILITY AND VISCOSITY OF MIXTURES OF R22 IN 2 COMMONLY USED 150 SUS LUBRICANTS HAVE BEEN MEASURED IN A NEW TEST FACILITY. RESULTS FOR LIQUID MIXTURES OF 10 % TO 40 % R22 (BY MASS) IN A 150 SUS NAPHTHENIC OIL AND IN A 150 SUS ALKYLBENZENE ARE REPORTED OVER THE TEMPERATURE RANGE OF 38 TO 149 DEG C. COMPARISONS WITH THE LIMITED DATA PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED IN THE OPEN LITERATURE SHOW THAT REASONABLE AGREEMENT IS OBTAINED.
