Summary

A VIBRATION ANALYSIS WAS CARRIED OUT FOR AN INVERTER-DRIVEN ROTARY COMPRESSOR IN CONSIDERING THE DYNAMIC BEHAVIOUR OF THE INDUCTION MOTOR. THE MOTOR MODEL WAS CONSTRUCTED WITH EQUIVALENT CIRCUIT, AND THE STRUCTURAL PARAMETERS SUCH AS MASS PROPERTY WERE DETERMINED BY BBA AND COMPUTER GRAPHICS. COMPRESSOR VIBRATION CAN BE REASONABLY PREDICTED OVER THE WIDE RANGE OF ROTATIONAL SPEED. IT ALSO BECOMES POSSIBLE TO EVALUATE THE INSTABILITY UNDER LOW-SPEED OPERATION AND THE VIBRATION CONTROL SYSTEM WITH A PULSE WIDTH MODULATION INVERTER.
