Summary
The study indicates that an R11 compressor working with R123 will have lower adiabatic head rise, efficiency and volume flow. Argues that this performance difference should not exclude R123 as an alternative to R11 since most of the existing machines are oversized for a particular application and the performance attained with R123 could be adequate.
