Thermal efficiency calculation for fins of improved forms.

Summary
To estimate the heat-exchange efficiency of finned tube surfaces, the calculation relationships for the lateral fin of an arbitrary axially symetric form have been obtained by solving the heat-conduction equation. The results of the analytical solutions for particular cases of possible fin form variants were compared with experimental data. Good agreement of experimental results with calculated values shows the fit of the suggested model to a real physical object.
