Comparison between air conditioning with ice accumulation and conventional air conditioning systems for office buildings. The author gives: 1) a theoretical example in terms of area, space and costs; 2) a comparative study basing on an actual example (Taipei World Trade Centre), where an ice accumulation system has been implemented; electric power and costs of such a system are compared with those of an equivalent conventional system.
