Thermo-elastic properties of fused quartz filled epoxies between 4.2 and 300 K.

Summary
Several models describing epoxy matrix composite properties predict a lower thermal dilatation coefficient and higher Young modulus for epoxies that are charged with low thermal dilatation particles. Measurements of the thermo-elastic properties of three filled radiation-hard epoxy resins are compared with these theoretical models.
