SIMPLE THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS TO EVALUATE ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP CYCLES, USING WATER-MULTICOMPONENT SALT MIXTURES IS SUGGESTED IN THE PAPER. BY MEASURING ONLY THE BOILING POINT OF THE SOLUTION, THE VAPOUR PRESSURE AND ENTHALPY ARE ESTIMATED, AND COPS OF THE ABSORPTION AND THE RESORPTION HEAT PUMPS ARE CALCULATED. THE METHOD IS USEFUL FOR SELECTING VARIOUS MIXED SALT SOLUTIONS.
