Author(s) : STOECKER W. F.

Summary

REFRIGERANT 502 MUST BE REPLACED BECAUSE OF ITS CONTENT OF R115, AND R125 IS ONE OF THE REPLACEMENT CANDIDATES. THE MAJOR DISADVANTAGE OF R125 MAY BE ITS RELATIVELY LOWER COEFFICIENT OF PERFORMANCE EXCEPT AT VERY LOW COMPRESSION RATIOS. THE MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TWO FLUIDS ARE COMPARED AND ANALYSED.
