Thermodynamic description of macroeconomics.

Summary

Generally operating in the vicinity of normal ("room") temperature region the world economics has been overheated due to a series of internal irreversible processes, and now is cooling down undergoing a phase transition to a novel quasi-equilibrium econothermodynamic state. The paper demonstrates the applicability of thermodynamic approach to the general characterization of macroeconomical process. The authors attempted to apply the econothermodynamic approach to describe just one of the structural units of economics - a business company - and arrived at conclusions that would interest company executives. This publication is a first attempt to draw parallels between thermodynamics, economics and business.
