THERMODYNAMIC PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS AND TEST OF REFRIGERATOR USING R152A AS REFRIGERANT.

Author(s) : TAN L. C., GE Y. T.

Summary

A MODIFIED PATEL-TEJA EQUATION OF STATE IS USED TO CALCULATE THE REFRIGERANTS THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES. A SIMULATING CALCULATION MODEL FOR REFRIGERATION CYCLE OF DOMESTIC REFRIGERATOR IS PROPOSED AND THE THERMODYNAMIC PERFORMANCE USING R12, R134A, R152A WAS CALCULATED AND COMPARED. R152A WAS SELECTED AS AN ALTERNATIVE. 3% ENERGY SAVING WAS MEASURED BY USE OF R152A TO SUBSTITUTE FOR R12 IN THE PRIMARY TEST OF A REFRIGERATOR.
