Summary
To calculate the thermodynamic properties of R32 in the single-phase zone and on the saturation line, experimental values of the ultrasonic speed obtained for liquid R32 were used. The ultrasonic speed was measured with the impulsion method at a frequency of 2.1 megahertz in the temperature interval of 286 to 341 K (on four isotherms) and at pressures of 1.5 to 10 megapascals. The test results are presented. The experimental data are accurate to within 0.2%. The data are generalized through a polynomial on the basis of the physical model adopted. The thermodynamic properties are presented in a table.
