PROPRIETES THERMOPHYSIQUES D'UN NOUVEAU FLUIDE FRIGORIGENE : LE 1,1,1 TRIFLUOROETHANE (HFC143A).

Author(s) : ARNAUD D., et al.

Summary

R143A (1,1,1-TRIFLUOROETHANE) IS A PROMISING REPLACEMENT FOR R502 WHICH IS USED AS A REFRIGERANT IN LOW TEMPERATURE COMMERCIAL DISPLAY CABINETS. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PAPER IS TO PROVIDE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF THIS NEW REFRIGERANT. DATA ON THE VAPOR (MEASUREMENT OF PVT, IDEAL GAS SPECIFIC HEAT, VAPOR PRESSURE) AND THE LIQUID (SATURATED DENSITY) ARE REPORTED. THESE DATA HAVE BEEN CORRELATED TO AN EQUATION OF STATE OF THE MARTINAND HOU TYPE, WHICH WAS USED TO DESCRIBE THE THERMODYNAMICS OF R143A. COMPARATIVE THERMODYNAMIC PERFORMANCES FOR R502 AND R143A ARE GIVEN.
