Summary

Modern transportation with an internal-combustion engine (ICE) utilizes about 35-40% of fuel calorific. This leads both to non-renewable hydrocarbons losses and also sufficiently affects the environment. Improvement of all traditional elements and units is already reached its highest level and demands fundamental revision of main func-tioning principles of transportation. Utilization of exhaust heat with the usage of steam-turbine, heat utilizing air conditioner and intercooler is considered as perspective direction to reduce fuel consumption significantly at power capacity increase. Application of proposed transport system in the vehicles with ICE enables to cut fuel consumption by half and reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
