Summary
In Europe, packaging constitutes a real problem in everyday life. The EEC has established a legislation which asks for increased use of reuseable and recycable packaging. A Norwegian company, in cooperation with SINTEF, has recently developed new transport packaging which meets the demands concerning hygiene and logistics. The high density polyethylene materials chosen are easy to clean and can be recycled.
