VERY-LOW TEMPERATURE (-150 DEG C) REFRIGERATION SYSTEM WITH MIXED REFRIGERANTS.

Author(s) : MATSUDA T., et al.

Summary

THE AUTHORS HAVE DEVELOPED A VERY-LOW TEMPERATURE (-150 DEG C) REFRIGERATION SYSTEM TO BE USED FOR COLD TRAP IN VAPOUR DEPOSITION OR SPUTTERING EQUIPMENTS, WHICH SYSTEM EMPLOYS A FOUR-STAGE GAS-LIQUID SEPARATION PROCESS AND A MIXED REFRIGERANT REFRIGERATION CYCLE FILLING SIX COMPONENTS OF REFRIGERANTS. THE NEW SYSTEM CAN REALIZE -150 DEG C WITH ONE COMPRESSOR AND ACHIEVE 200 WATTS COOLING CAPACITY AT -130 DEG C WITH A 2.2 KILOWATTS COMPRESSOR.
