Binary mixtures for an integrated-cascade cycle.
Mélanges binaires pour un cycle en cascade intégrée.
Author(s) : DEWITTE P., CLODIC D.
Summary
Binary mixtures with a new refrigeration cycle allows one-stage design with an evaporating temperature of 233 K and a condensing temperature of 313 K. The system utilizes gas-liquid separation to get the right composition in the evaporator. The selected refrigerants are zero-ODP substances. The system's performances are calculated for four refrigerant pairs.
