WASTE HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEMS IN A POULTRY SLAUGHTERHOUSE'S REFRIGERATING PLANT.

SYSTEMES DE RECUPERATION DE LA CHALEUR PERDUE DANS L'INSTALLATION FRIGORIFIQUE D'UN ABATTOIR DE VOLAILLES.

Author(s) : LONCAN P. S.

Summary

TWO STUDIES OF PRACTICAL SYSTEMS FOR WASTE HEAT RECOVERY, THAT WILL BE APPLIED IN AN INSTALLATION TO BE IMPLANTED, ARE PRESENTED. THE FIRST ONE WILL RECOVER HEAT IN POULTRY IMMERSION CHILLING INSTALLATION BY INSERTING A HEAT EXCHANGER BETWEEN FINAL CHILLER'S WATER OUTLET AND PRE-CHILLER'S WATER INLET, TO COOL NATURAL WATER THAT GOES TO FINAL CHILLER TO MIX WITH ICE. THE SECOND ONE WILL PROFIT AMMONIA VAPOUR'S SUPERHEAT IN SECOND STAGE COMPRESSORS' DELIVERY, TO HEAT WATER TO BE USED IN POULTRY PROCESSING. IN BOTH STUDIES, HEAT EXCHANGERS DIMENSIONING IS PRESENTED, AS WELL AS AN ESTIMATE OF ITS PAYING-OFF DELAY.
