[In Dutch. / En néerlandais.]

Author(s) : WOESS H. P.

Type of article: Article

Summary

The article presents rules to prevent condensation at the outside of the pipe insulation. The watervapour diffusion in the insulation and the meaning of the mu-factor is discussed. The vapour diffusion in the insulation is discussed and more in details the relation with the mu-factor, which depends on the temperature. The climatical conditions at the outside of the mounting of the insulation is also an important factor to attain the desired life time.
