Summary

THE RATE OF WEIGHT LOSS OF SNAIL IN RELATION TO DIFFERENT THERMOHYGROMETRIC CONDITIONS, DURING A 15 WEEKS PERIOD, HAS BEEN INVESTIGATED. THE RESULTS OBTAINED SHOW A 3% WEIGHT LOSS IN THE CASE OF SNAILS MAINTAINED AT 78% RH, 277 K (4 DEG C). IN ALL THE OTHER CONDITIONS THAT HAVE BEEN TESTED AN AVERAGE OF 16% WEIGHT LOSS HAS BEEN OBSERVED.
