Zero-ozone depletion potential (ODP) blowing agents for polyurethane foams.

Summary

In considering zero-ODP compounds that are currently available, the potential HFC candidates are gases at ambient conditions. With the objective to understand feasibility for using low-boiling HFCs as polyurethane-foam blowing agents, a study of R134a and R152a was begun. The paper summarizes developments in that effort thus far.
