IIR/UNEP Cold Chain Technology Brief on Vaccines

The IIR and the UN Environment programme have jointly developed the cold chain technology brief on vaccines dedicated to government National Ozone Officers, policy makers, and refrigeration stakeholders. The brief is available in English, French, and in Spanish.

The IIR and the UN Environment programme partnered in the development of a cold chain technology brief on vaccines dedicated to government National Ozone Officers, policy makers, and refrigeration stakeholders. Written by Gérald Cavalier (President of the IIR Science and Technology Council), this brief provides an overview of vaccine temperature control, the different types of vaccine cold chain applications, good operational practices for vaccine cold chain applications, the types of refrigerants used and the challenges related to this sector. The brief is available in English, French and in Spanish.
